L/P/C Public Relations is comprised of a team of creative problem solvers who have built a track record both nationally and internationally.
Lang is an often quoted pundit on local, regional and national Asian American issues and politics. His comments have appeared in the Los Angeles Times, New York Times, Wall Street Journal, San Jose Mercury News, San Francisco Chronicle, Seattle Post-Intelligence, Far Eastern Economic Review and numerous Chinese media. Lang has a Master’s Degree in International Relations from the London School of Economics & Political Science; a B.A. in Political Science from York University in Toronto, Canada; and a Diploma from the University of Vienna. He also attended graduate school at the East West Center in Hawaii and the University of Southern California. Lang is fluent in both Cantonese and Mandarin. Leading the LPC team in winning three awards from the Los Angeles Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) in October 2003, Pan is recognized for his work in public education and grassroots organizing in the Asian community. An Accredited Public Relations (APR) professional, he is also a current board member of the PRSA-LA Chapter and a member of the PRSA Counselors Academy. Pan is active in the Asian Pacific American community and various community-based organizations. As the founder of the Asian American Environmental Partnership (AAEP), a U.S. based non-profit, Pan is dedicated to increasing the awareness and involvement of the Asian American community in environmental issues in the U.S. as well as in China. A recipient of the prestigious Environmental Leadership Fellowship Grant (ELP), Pan is part of the international network of environmental leadership. Since 2001, he has served as the lead for all of LPC’s environmental projects, including the County of Los Angeles’ Used Motor Oil Outreach Program and the Stormwater Outreach Program, Southern California MWD, Upper San Gabriel Valley MWD, West Basin and Central Basin MWDs, and the cities of Monterey Park and Arcadia. He led the Los Angeles County Department of Public Works-Asian Outreach project in setting a county and statewide record and garnering three prestigious awards from the Public Relations Society of America for research, public education and multi-ethnic outreach.
