Served as the prime consultant in designing and implementing public information and outreach campaigns to promote the District's ocean water desalination demonstration and recycled water expansion projects. The desalination pilot project is one of the most state-of-the-art research plants in the nation and has the support and attention of many institutions and agencies. Conducted outreach activities targeting community-based organizations, local municipalities, elected officials, environmental agencies, water purveyors and residential users. Developed unified messages and brands for the projects. Coordinate media and crisis management training for members of the Board and staff.
