LPC Los Angeles Office seeking Student Interns

Lang/Pan/Chan Public Relations (L/P/C) is an award-winning strategic communications and public relations firm specializing in the Asian American community both in the United States and abroad. Currently, we are seeking 2 part-time or full-time interns interested in a fast-paced work environment to assist on client projects in the areas of political consulting, public affairs, public relations, social marketing and events planning.

PR and Marketing Intern
Job Description
As an intern, your duties will include compiling and updating media lists; organizing media clippings and report binders; contacting vendors and sponsors and conducting basic researches. . Interns will also update company databases and other administrative support.

Qualifications
Candidate should be a junior, senior or graduate student majoring in communications, public relations, journalism, political science, or international relations. Ideal candidate must possess excellent communication skills; and should be proficient with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint and Internet. . Candidate must be an organized, detail-oriented and efficient individual who can multitask and work with a team. Bilingual in one of the Asian languages preferred.

Online Marketing Intern
Job Description
As an intern, your duties will include creating webpage, updating event websites and designing creative collaterals. Interns will also update company databases and other administrative support. Interns will be assigned to work on specific client accounts and gain hand-on experiences.

Qualifications
Ideal candidate for the online marketing intern position should be Mac friendly; have full knowledge of Dreamweaver, Photoshop and/or other web design software. Candidate must be an organized, detail-oriented and efficient individual who can multitask and work with a team. Bilingual in one of the Asian languages preferred.

Work Schedule: Part-time (16-20 hours/ week)

Compensation: College credit (stipend and monthly parking provided)
